Saklıkent Canyon, located between Antalya and Mugla Provincial borders, is located on Karacay which is one of  tributary of Esen River. The canyon  is about 30 km distanced from Patara Ancient City, 40 km from Kalkan.

Saklıkent Canyon is formed thousand years ago. Its limestone, erodible structure is transformed  to canyon with help of the cracks of rupture. The canyon attracts with its depth that reaching up 18 km,  .  Some places in the canyon could not see the sun light since its height ranges  betweeen 200 m and 600 m.

ACTIVITIES

After a nice trip into canyon, you can taste Turkish pancake or drink fresh beverage on Turkish style floor table. Eating something on the floor table settled on the river will be both authentic and delighting for you and loved ones.

The most popular activity that is preffered by visitors  is Rafting for sure. There are some firms which provide you necessary equipment  for this experince. It is not just rafting there is also another activity to do.

There are benches for shopping in the parking area. We recommend to check these benches that you can find traditionally  and artefacts done by locally people.

You can make your vacation even more fun with mud bath at the meeting point of Karacay and Esen River. Recently it is one of the most popular things to do in the region.
